I took three wide mouth canning jars and labeled them "Jesus", "Sin" and "You". Fill "Sin" & "You" half full of water. Fill "Jesus" with 1/4 water and 1/4 bleach. Put enough Iodine in "Sin" to make it quite dark. I wheeled them in on a small cart with a towel underneath (in case of a spill) and another to cover before the reveal. I kept the labels turned toward me and turned toward the kids one at a time. "Sin" was the middle jar representing how sin comes between us and God. While pouring some of "Sin" into "You" I explained the effects sin has on our lives and that to God sin is sin whether a little white lie of killing millions of people. "Jesus" died on the cross for our sins to make us clean (pour some of "Jesus" into "You"). Jesus also took on Himself all the sins of the world (pour some of "Sin" into "Jesus"). Jesus death on the cross was to pay once and for all for all the sins of the world and to defeat Satan (pour some of "Jesus" into "Sin"). All three jars will be clear. Trust me!! You will hear Ooohhhss and Aaahhhsss from both the kids and other leaders. Kids will be coming up after asking how you did it.
